Cardboardia is a nation without territory, founded in 2007, aiming to create a community with a sustainable economy without territory and without fossil resources. Cardboardia brings together creative people from all over the world — artists, engineers, painters, producers, directors, and other professions. Together they realize both the most incredible and realistic ideas. Cardboardia organizes public spaces and projects in the creative economy.
When creating any city scale event with Cardboardia, you have the unique opportunity to establish a Cardboardia Embassy in your region.
The creative community of your city!
The Cardboardia Embassy!
Cardboardia Embassy is a team of creative people living in the same territory.

The aim and main task of such an association is to form a local working multidisciplinary team to organize city events of different scales.

Cardboardia Embassy

— is an effective tool for working with the creative community of the city, which opens up a lot of opportunities...
FOR ORGANIZERS OF CITY EVENTS:
  • thanks to the team included in all processes, it is easy to scale, and most importantly, to continue and develop any initiated projects while maintaining the available budget;
  • a developing, working team of multidisciplinary professionals is created, ready to be involved in absolutely diverse city events;
  • the team itself, based on the best practices from all over the world, will initiate and develop new interesting projects and events for the region.
FOR RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OR REGION:
  • an interesting and rich cultural life of the city, consisting of large and small regular interactive events, where residents are the main participants;
  • coming together in the right structure, talented people produce something unusual and grandiose, which amazes and inspires and is of enormous benefit for the development of the city's creative economy.
FOR CREATIVES:
  • often hundreds of talented people live in the same area but don't know about each other. Cardboardia helps to find, cooperate and connect to a wider circle of like-minded people from all over the world and get a powerful support for development;
  • everyone will have the opportunity to constantly get new tools and best practices from masters from all over the world;
  • internship on real Cardboardia projects in different regions of the country.

How we form the Cardboardia Embassy

1
Step 1
Each time we form a creative team to realize a new project-event, based on our goals and objectives. The team includes multidisciplinary curators who have been working with Cardboardia for a long time and trainees: local artists, actors, performers, directors, students and volunteers. It is from them that the creative core of the event and subsequently of the Embassy is formed.
2
Step 2
For the interns — the local creative team — there is a Lab, which involves a series of online and offline workshops from multidisciplinary Cardboardia curators from all over the world. In the process, we unlock the potential of the participants, familiarize them with the structure and prepare them for the current Event.
3
Step 3
3-5 days before the event
(e.g. Carnival)

We conduct offline trainings within the framework of the Lab for the creative team. Prepare workshops, create key art objects.
