The goal of Cardboardia ’s experiment is to create a precedent where the economy of an international multinational community is built around a non-fossil natural resource: creative energy. How we form the Cardboardia Embassy

Step 1
Each time we form a creative team to realize a new project-event, based on our goals and objectives. The team includes multidisciplinary curators who have been working with Cardboardia for a long time and trainees: local artists, actors, performers, directors, students and volunteers. It is from them that the creative core of the event and subsequently of the Embassy is formed.

For the interns — the local creative team — there is a Lab, which involves a series of online and offline workshops from multidisciplinary Cardboardia curators from all over the world. In the process, we unlock the potential of the participants, familiarize them with the structure and prepare them for the current Event.

Officially, the birth of the Shorokh Creative Association can be called the fall of '22. What preceded this appearance? At first there was a children's play about an Indian boy Ishkuda, where the creation of scenery was guided by the hand of Olga Eremenko, already kissed by Cardboardia. Then there was Summer at the Factory, marked by the creative rampage of the Laboratory of the Research Institute of Cardboardia. A stack of cardboard remained as an echo, which it was decided to put to use. This is how the project “Shadow of the City” appeared under the name of Creative Association Shorokh. And then the summer of 23rd year happened. It was the “Pushkin's Ministry of Cardboardia”, and “In Search of Creative Energy”, and, of course, the “Day of the City of Yekaterinburg”, which was filled with creative energy to the maximum. Cardboardia's laboratory was based in the most unique building of the constructivism era, filling it to the very roof with creative realizations. Cardboardia set out to conquer the next territories. And some of the characters, having passed the crucible of creative madness and gained a lot of practical experience, stayed on to further pump up the theme of cardboard in Yekaterinburg - in the Creative Cluster L52 as residents. We push the boundaries, experiment and are always ready for mutual exchange of creative energy. Cardboardia is in our hearts, heads and hands!
